Free Adult English Classes Online

                             Friendship Community Project

                         Starting Week of September 6^th, 2021

Beginning, intermediate and advanced students can register for our free online classes at                    https://forms.gle/39Y4XscD6Xt39J3EA  or email Susan at info@fcp-iowa.org for help.  Each class will meet at different times on different days, depending on teacher’s and students’ availability.

We will try holding one small, *beginning* class with a Covid-vaccinated teacher for vaccinated students who can’t attend class online.  The first class is at 9:45AM on Wednesday, September 8^th in the basement of the Good News Bible Church, 845 Pepperwood Lane in Iowa City.  Please wear a mask and bring your Covid vaccination card.  This class will meet Monday and Wednesday, 9:45-11:30AM.

Online and outdoor conversation groups are also planned, or you can practice English conversation with a volunteer Phone Pal.  Email Susan at info@fcp-iowa.org for information.

Our last week of classes is the week of May 3rd. We will still be pairing students with Phone Pals/Friendship Pals over the summer and offer at least one conversation group. Please email info@fcp-iowa.org if you are interested! Fall classes will begin in early September and may or may not be online, depending on the Covid situation. We are now registering for online classes only for Fall, 2020.  Classes will begin the week of September 8th, but times will vary.  We are offering beginning, intermediate and advanced classes.  To register and take a short placement test, click on this link:  https://forms.gle/39Y4XscD6Xt39J3EA .  We are also planning online conversation groups.  If you have questions or want more information, contact Susan at info@fcp-iowa.org.

To participate in our online classes, you can use a smart phone or a computer.  We are using Google Meet.

Friendship Community Project’s free, adult English classes will be online only this fall for the safety of our staff and students during the coronavirus pandemic.

We have several teachers preparing to teach classes using Google Meet. Students can use a computer or a smart phone to attend classes.  If you or anyone you know would like to attend one of these online classes, please e-mail me at info@fcp-iowa.org. We hope to begin classes on September 8th. Susan
