English Classes

2025-26 Free English Classes for Adults Learning the Language

Our free, adult English classes meet on Monday and Wednesday mornings, 10am-11:30am Come to 845 Pepperwood Lane (Good News Bible Church building). You can register just before attending class. New students can come join a class any time during the year.

We also have an online conversation group for intermediate-advanced students, or you can practice English conversation with a volunteer conversation pal. Email Susan at info@fcp-iowa.org for information.

      Alamin, yes, you may join at any time. We meet on Monday and Wednesday mornings, downstairs at 845 Pepperwood Lane (in a church building). If you arrive at about 9:30, you will have 15 minutes before class starts to register and take a very short placement test. I hope we meet you soon! Susan

    Oh, I’m sorry, Alamin. We don’t have any classes available on the weekend.I don’t know of any weekend English classes in the area. Kirkwood Community College has some night classes, if that’s possible for you.

      Yes, Andreia, it’s ok to register any Monday or Wednesday morning when we’re there. Try to come at 9:30 so you can attend class the same day.
